Chat Her Box is a collaboration between two black female trainee doctors Dr Jennifer Owusu Adjei and Dr Remi Mogekwu in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
We are doctors who are passionate about women’s health and women’s health rights.
Meet The Team
Dr Remi Mogekwu
Dr Remi Mogekwu is a medical doctor specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a registrar working in North East London. She graduated from King’s College London and obtained a Master’s in Women’s health and reproductive science from University College London.
Dr Jennifer Owusu Adjei
Dr Jennifer Owusu Adjei is a medical doctor specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London. She obtained her medial degree from Kings College Medical School and a Bachelors degree in women’s health physiology.

Our Mission
The aim of ChatHerBox is to educate and empower black women to make informed choices about their care and move away from medical paternalism. We provide women a safe platform to speak freely, ask questions and learn about their health.
Our Vision
We want to see black women empowered to speak about their health, know what signs and symptoms to look out for and present early to get medical attention. When they are seen, we want them to be treated fairly, listened to and a patient centred and not paternalistic approach to be used.
