How we keep your information safe and who has access

We understand the importance of the security of your personal information and take steps to safeguard it. For example, our online forms are always encrypted and our network is protected and routinely monitored.

We undertake regular reviews of who has access to information that we hold to ensure that it is only accessible to appropriately trained staff, volunteers and contractors. All information is password protected. Sometimes, if attending an event, your name will be sent to caterers, planners or hosts to help arrange access, seating and table plans.

Occasionally we use external platforms like Mailchimp but they only have access to the minimal details needed to send a communication. If any of our suppliers run their operations outside the European Economic Area (EEA) we will take steps to make sure they provide an adequate level of protection in accordance with UK and EU data protection law.
